Privacy Policy

How we handle data and privacy.

Last Updated: December 17, 2025

Introduction

At HiA2UI, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the HiA2UI documentation site and protocol specifications handle your information.

1. No Data Collection by the Protocol

Crucially, the A2UI Protocol itself is a stateless JSON specification. Using the protocol in your applications does not send any data to HiA2UI servers.

  • We do not track your API calls.
  • We do not store your JSON payloads.
  • We have no access to your LLM interactions.

All data flow happens directly between Your User, Your Server, and Your LLM Provider.

2. Website Analytics

This documentation website (hia2ui.com) uses privacy-preserving analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or similar) to track aggregate usage trends (e.g., “Which pages are most visited?”).

  • No Cookies: We do not use persistent cookies for tracking.
  • No PII: We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (IP addresses are anonymized).

3. Third-Party Services

We host this documentation on static distribution networks.

  • GitHub: We use GitHub for code hosting and issue tracking. If you interact with our repository, GitHub’s privacy policy applies.

4. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy as the project evolves. All changes will be transparently committed to our public repository history.
